Formaldehyde Test Chambers is used to test formaldehyde emission of various wood-based panel, composite wood flooring, carpet, carpet padding, and other interior decoration materials, also other building materials under constant temperature humidity.
This formaldehyde emission chamber is specially designed for testing formaldehyde emission of wood‑based panels such as chipboard, MDF and plywood, complying with European standard EN717‑1:2004.
It precisely simulates real‑indoor environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, air velocity and air‑change rate. After test samples are placed inside the air‑tight stainless‑steel chamber, formaldehyde released from specimens mixes with circulating clean air. Air samples are collected periodically until steady‑state formaldehyde concentration is achieved.
Note: This unit is only for formaldehyde testing. For TVOC / benzene series testing, VOC emission test chamber shall be selected.
