Class II Type A2/B2 Biological Safety Cabinet

laboratory safety cabinet/class ii biological safety cabinet is necessary in animalcule lab, especially in the condition

When you walk into a research laboratory, there is a piece of equipment that is often referred to by many different names: cell culture hood, tissue culture hood, laminar flow hood, PCR hood, clean bench, or biosafety cabinet. An important thing to note, however, is that not all of these “hoods” are created equally; in fact, they have very different protective capabilities. The common thread is that the equipment provides laminar air flow for a “clean” work area, but it is important to know that not all equipment provides additional personnel or environmental protection.Biosafety cabinets (BSCs) are one type of biocontainment equipment used in biological laboratories to provide personnel, environmental, and product protection. Most BSCs (e.g., Class II and Class III) use high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters in both the exhaust and supply system to prevent exposure to biohazards.

A Biological Safety Cabinet (BSC), also known as a Biosafety Cabinet is mainly used for handling pathogenic biological samples or for applications that require a sterile work zone. A biological safety cabinet creates inflow and downflow of air that provides operator protection.

A biological safety cabinet (BSC) is a primary engineering control used to protect personnel against biohazardous or infectious agents and to help maintain quality control of the material being worked with as it filters both the inflow and exhaust air. It is sometimes referred to as a laminar flow or tissue culture hood.needing protection measure, such as medicine, pharmacy, scientific research and so on.

biological safety cabinet (BSC), also referred to as a biosafety cabinet, is a hood or glove box suitable for safe handling and manipulation of biological samples, bacteria, infectious organisms, such as COVID-19, and some substances known to cause cancer (carcinogens) or birth defects (teratogens). Biological safety cabinet requirements are defined by Biological Safety Levels (BSL), which differentiate health and safety risks between Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3, and Class 4 environments.

Class II Biological Safety Cabinet systems provide both HEPA filtered supply air and HEPA filtered exhaust air. Class-2 biosafety cabinets are required in the presence of moderately hazardous microbes, such as Staphylococcus aureus. Class-2 biosafety sub-types include A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 configurations. Class II A2 biosafety cabinets recirculate 70% of the air back into the work area while exhausting the remaining 30%. Class II B2 biosafety cabinets immediately exhaust 100% of the air leaving the work area. Class II C1 biosafety cabinets are NSF/ANSI 49 approved and capable of toggling between A2 and B2 configurations.

Biosafety Cabinets (BSC), also known as Biological Safety Cabinets, offer personnel, product, and environmental protection through laminar airflow and HEPA filtration for the biomedical/microbiological lab.

Class II A2 biological safety cabinet/biological safety cabinet manufactory's main characters:

1. Air curtain isolation design prevents internal and external cross-contamination, 30% of the air flow is discharged outside and 70% of the internal circulation, negative pressure vertical laminar flow, no need to install pipes.

2. The glass door can be moved up and down, can be positioned arbitrarily, is easy to operate, and can be completely closed for sterilization, and the positioning height limit alarm prompts.

3. The power output socket in the work area is equipped with a waterproof socket and a sewage interface to provide great convenience for the operator

4. A special filter is installed at the exhaust air to control emission pollution.

5. The working environment is made of high-quality 304 stainless steel, which is smooth, seamless, and has no dead ends. It can be easily and thoroughly disinfected and can prevent the erosion of corrosive agents and disinfectants.

6. It adopts LED LCD panel control and built-in UV lamp protection device, which can only be opened when the safety door is closed.

7. With DOP detection port, built-in differential pressure gauge.

8, 10° tilt angle, in line with the human body design concept
