The WSY-010 type petroleum asphalt wax content tester is a dedicated instrument for the automatic constant-temperature refrigeration determination of wax content in petroleum asphalt, developed by our factory based on the standard analysis method for wax content in petroleum asphalt SH/T0425-92 issued by the China National Petroleum and Chemical Corporation. The temperature control part adopts a digital electronic temperature control instrument with high precision, fast response and clear reading. The refrigeration machine is a large-power imported 750WF22 compressor. The deep cold can reach minus 28℃. It solves the problem of difficult temperature control caused by the previous use of artificial dry ice cooling and Dewar flask insulation, and the difficulty in operation of analysis and testing, which only allowed one sample to be tested each time.
It complies with the requirements of the test method for wax content of asphalt (distillation method) as stipulated in the “Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture in Highway Engineering” (JTG E20-2011), T0625-2011.

The wax content of the sample is determined by the method of cracking distillation and cold filtration. The instrument is desktop type, compact in structure, occupies a small space, and the suction filter distributor and hanging needle assembly are modularized, with good human-machine interaction.
