Overview

This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements stipulated in T 0604-2011 “Test for Penetration of Bitumen” of the “Test Procedures for Bitumen and Bituminous Mixtures for Highway Engineering” (JTG E20-2011), a traffic industry standard of the People’s Republic of China. It is suitable for testing the penetration of road petroleum asphalt, modified asphalt, and the residue after evaporation of liquid petroleum asphalt or emulsified asphalt.

I. Main Technical Features

1. The lifting mechanism is innovatively designed, and the fine-tuning structure allows for easy and smooth up and down adjustment.
2. It is equipped with a dedicated low-temperature circulating constant-temperature water bath to provide circulating constant-temperature water to the glass container on the working platform of the penetration tester, creating a pre-set and constant low-temperature environment required for the test sample.
4. It adopts a novel digital display, with stable data, reliable operation, and accurate measurement results.

(2) Penetration Depth Device: Equipped with a high-precision digital display, it is convenient, fast, and intuitive to use, and can be started at any position.
(3) Resolution: 0.01 mm.
(4) Penetration Accuracy: ±1 penetration degree.
(5) Maximum Penetration Depth: 500 penetration degrees.
(6) Standard Needle: 50 mm, 2.5 g ± 0.05 g (basic configuration).
