This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the People’s Republic of China Standard GB/T 4507 “Test Method for Softening Point of Petroleum Asphalt” and the People’s Republic of China Industry Standard JTG E20-2011 “Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixture in Highway Engineering” T 0606-2011 “Test for Softening Point of Asphalt (Ring and Ball Method)”. It is suitable for the determination of the softening point of various types of asphalt such as road petroleum asphalt, coal tar pitch, and liquid petroleum asphalt. It is the preferred instrument for asphalt production enterprises, highway and bridge construction units, colleges and universities, and research institutions.
This instrument can also be used to test the softening point of resin products.
I. Main Technical Features
1. This instrument is a small desktop structure, featuring microcomputer control, linear heating, and automatic stirring. The measurement results are accurate and reliable, and the test results are automatically displayed upon completion of the test.
2. The beaker is made of high-temperature resistant glass, and the specifications and dimensions of the heating rate, steel ball positioning ring, and steel ball comply with the requirements stipulated in the standard.
3. The water bath is equipped with an automatic stirring device, and the time and temperature are displayed by digital tubes. It can test two samples simultaneously, making the test convenient and the results reliable.
4. The maximum heating temperature of the test bath of this instrument is 190℃.
